GFCF Expert, Barrie Silberberg Reports....Recent Study on the GFCF diet and Web sites for help
I am assuming by now, you have heard about or seen the insane study on the findings regarding the GFCF diet. This has hit the news and is one of the most ridiculous studies ever to hit the media. First off, a total of 14 children were studied…yes FOURTEEN! No study should EVER be conducted or reported for such a tiny, little group. Secondly, the children were reintroduced to gluten and casein four weeks after gluten & casein were removed. ANYONE who knows anything about this diet knows that gluten could take MONTHS, like 4-6 months for the body to be completely free of the toxic effects. I also am concerned that if the people who ran this study were so ignorant on these terms, do they REALLY understand about cross contamination and gluten or casein in non-food products? Anyone who has seen success with this diet, which are thousands of people worldwide, know that this study is nothing more than causing hype and incorrect information and hysteria and bottom line….
